personal values

Job titles and what not...

Don't let your job title define you!  I know, I know....that's easier said then done.  It took  years to embrace this concept and adjust my own personal values.  I still find myself having to realign my personal values when my ego starts to rise up and be eager for a false sense of entitlement.

Titles are important in our culture, just don't let them define who you are.  We all can get catch up in the quest for an upgrade in title, status, salary, respect, authority and all that other stuff (fillers).  Keep what I'm sharing in perspective and in context. I'm sharing and "painting" with a board brush.  Learn to be comfortable with who you are.  Your job title is NOT who you are and should not be used to describe yourself.  There is no one like you on the face of the earth.  You have a unique finger print that no one in the world has. Let that sink in for a second.

Let your works speak for you.  Your attitude, appearance, work ethic and results will cause you to shine in your area of expertise.  You'll be called on, asked to do, and be "top of mind" without anyone thinking about your job title.  I honestly say that my "works" have gotten me more attention then my job title.  It's not about who you know, but who know YOU!

Welcome to the Posh way of life!
